European businessmen nakatingin sa Pilipinas bilang “investment destination” – Romualdez
Ibinahagi ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez na kaakit-akit ang Pilipinas para sa mga negosyante sa Europa.
Ito, ayon kay Romualdez, ay nalaman niya mismo kay Noel Clehane, board member ng EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) sa kanilang pagpupulong.
Kabilang si Clehane, sa mga kinatawan ng EU-ABC na bumisita sa bansa, at nagpahayag ng interes na mapalawak ang pakikipagkalakalan ng European Union (EU) business and trade relations sa Pilipinas.
Nabatid na ang EU-ABC ay may kabuuang 70 delegado mula sa 36 European multinational companies.
“We have been highlighting to them that this region (ASEAN), particularly the Philippines, is the most attractive in the world for European businesses,” ani Clehane.
Nagpasalamat si Romualdez sa pagpupursige ng grupo at ibinahagi niya sa mga bisita ang mga inisyatibo naman ng Kamara, alinsunod sa mga polisiya ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Marcos Jr.
“We’re here to see how can help. We would like to support, we would like to assist. We’d like to be aware of the challenges so we could address them together,” pagtitiyak ni Romualdez sa mga nakaharap na delegado.
