Korean fugitive umeskapo sa BI Taguig facility sa loob ng PNP camp
Naglunsad ng malawakang paghahanap ang Bureau of Immigration (BI) laban sa isang 38-anyos na Korean national matapos makatakas noong Linggo sa BI Warden Facility sa loob ng Camp Bagong Diwa sa Taguig City.
Sinabi ni Immigration Comm. Norman Tansingco pinaniniwalaan nila na nasaktan si Kang Juchum sa pagbagsak nito sa sementadong kalsada sa gilid ng pasilidad.
Inaresto si Kang sa NAIA Terminal 2 noong Pebrero 10 mula sa Bangkok base sa Interpol red notice dahil sa kasong murder.
“The BI is working in close collaboration with local law enforcement agencies to locate and apprehend him swiftly. Specialized teams have been deployed to various locations, following reliable leads to capture the fugitive,” ani Tansingco.
Iniimbestigahan na rin aniya nila ang posibleng kapabayaan kayat nakatakas ang naturang Koreano.
Tinaasan na rin nila ang bakod ng pasilidad at nilagyan pa ito ng barbed wires para sa dagdag seguridad.
Naipaalam na rin aniya nila sa Department of Justice at sa Korean Embassy ang insidente.
