PBBM Jr. sa DICT: Tulungan ang LGUs sa e-government system

Inatasan na ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) na palakasin pa ang kapasidad ng local government units (LGUs) para sa e-government system.
Ayon sa Pangulo, ito ay para makasabay ang LGUs sa isinusulong na digitalisasyon ng administrasyon. “Let’s capacitate our LGUs so they can adapt to the system,” bilin ni Pangulong Marcos kay DICT Secretary Ivan Uy. Sabi naman ni Uy, tiyak na malaki ang matitipid nf LGUs at mapalalakas ang kita kapag naipatupad ang bagong sistema. “So medyo gagaan ‘yung ano natin downloading. Makakatipid ho sila dito. And their income generation capacity will increase tremendously because there will be efficiencies in the collection,” pahayag ni Uy. Utos pa ng Pangulo kay Uy, palaging magsagawa ng regular updates. *“So again it all boils down to that. That’s really the essence of digitalization. Let’s be sure that we are able to upgrade this system. Set it up to get them (LGUs) ready, so they know how to operate it,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
