1st QC Green Awards sa barangay, SK, youth groups, negosyo

Bibigyang pagkilala ng pamahalaang-lungsod ng Quezon ang may pinakamagandang solusyon sa climate change at disaster risk reduction and management initiatives.
Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, inilunsad ang unang Green Awards para mahikayat ang mga residente na makiisa ssa climate action ng lungsod. Bibigyang pagkilala ang mga barangays, Sangguniang Kabataan, youth-based organizations, at mga businesses establishment na magpapatupad ng outstanding at inclusive programs sa Disaster Risk Reduction at Climate Action. “The collaboration and cooperation of the community and various stakeholders play a big role in disaster preparedness and addressing the adverse impact of the climate crisis. The city’s resiliency and climate action will not come into fruition without the support of every QCitizen,” pahayag ni Belmonte. May tatlong kategorya aniya ang parangal – Green Award, Resiliency Award, at Green and Resilient Champion. Maating magparehistro ang mga nagnanais na sumali sa QC Green Awards microsite (greenawards.quezoncity.gov.ph), at magsunite ng mga requirements sa official email address na [email protected].
