Sa Casiguran, Aurora naranasan ngayon ang pinakamataas na heat index, sa 48 degrees Celsius (°C).
Base ito sa monitoring ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Ito ay pasok sa “danger level” sa 42°C hanggang 51°C heat indexes at maaring magdulot ng “heat cramps and heat exhaustion.”
