Power interruption sa El Nido tinutugunan na ng Napocor
Minamadali na ng National Power Corporation (Napocor) ang delivery at installation ng dagdag na 6 megawatt power capacity para sa El Nido diesel power plant sa Palawan.
Ayon sa Napocor, tumaas kasi ang demand sa kuryente sa Palawan dahil sa pagiging top tourist destination nito.
Papalitan ng 6 megawatt power capacity ang 3 megawatt rental sa El Nido ngayon.
Nabatid na ang El Nido diesel power plant ay mayroong dependable capacity na 4.097 megawatt.
Pero dahil sa pagdami ng turista, tumaas ang demand sa kuryente at umabot sa 6.047 megawatt.
“Instead of the end of April, the gensets will be transported in El Nido on May 26 and can be commercially available on May 28,” pahayag ng Napocor.
Humingi na ng pasensya ang Napocor sa abala sa mga apektadong residente sa El Nido.
Sabi ng Napocor, temporary lamang ang nararanasang power interruptions.
