Sen. Jinggoy Estrada ikinagalak ang pagpirma ni PBBM sa bagong AFP Fixed Term Law
Malaking karangalan para kay Senator Jinggoy Estrada ang pagpirma ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., sa Republic Act 11903, na nag-amyenda sa Republic Act 11709 o ang Act Strengthening Professionalism and Promoting the Continuity of Policies and Modernization Initiatives in the AFP.
“This is a significant milestone not only because I stood as its principal author and sponsor, a first among the bills that I filed upon my return to the Senate that saw its fruition in this 19th Congress,” ani Estrada.
Ngunit mas ikinalulugod ng senador na dahil sa kanyang inisyatiba ay naplantsa na ang gusot sa RA 11709, na ipinaghimutok ng maraming opisyal ng sandatahang-lakas ng bansa.
Si Estrada ang nag-akda ng bagong batas at nag-sponsor nito sa plenaryo ng Senado.
“We passed the amendments to the relatively new RA 11709 in response to the call of our soldiers to address pressing issues on career progression and professional advancement,” dagdag pa ng namumuno sa Senate Committee on National Defense.
Diin pa niya, patunay lamang din ito ng pagsusumikap at dedikasyon ng mga kapwa niya senador, gayundin ng mga miyembro ng Kamara, Department of National Defense at AFP.
Nangako si Estrada na tutukan ang pagpapatupad ng batas para matiyak na epektibo ito.
