Hirit na patalsikin si Rep. Arnie Teves sa Kamara, ibinasura
Tinanggihan ng House Committee on Ethics and Privileges ang hiling ni Pamplona Mayor Janice Degamo na mapatalsik sa Kamara si suspended Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves Jr.
Sinabi ni committee chairman COOP-NATCCO Partylist Rep. Felimon Espares kulang sa “form and content” ang sulat ng biyuda ng pinaslang na si Gov. Roel Degamo.
“Actually we have decided and we have already responded, we have already replied. So for your information, the complaint was not able to qualify or pass its requirement in form and content,” ani Espares.
Dagdag paliwanag pa niya: “Unang-una, it is not a sworn complaint. So pag hindi siya sworn complaint hindi na yan mag-qualify dito sa committee. So there are a lot of requirements also according to our committee rules dapat i-comply.”
Ayon pa kay Espares sumagot na siya kay Degamo at ipinaliwanag ang kanilang naging desisyon.
Hindi rin aniya maaring amyendahan o baguhin ang sulat para tanggapin na ito ng komite.
Una nang inirekomenda ng komite na suspindihin ng 60 araw si Teves at ito ay inaprubahan naman sa plenaryo.
