100 milyong SIM card registration target, malapit nang maabot

Kumpiyansa ang Department of Information and Communications Technology na maabot ang 100 milyong target na SIM card registration sa mga susunod na buwan.
Sa pulong balitaan sa Malakanyang, sinabi ni DICT Secretary Ivan Uy na sa ngayon nasa 95 milyong SIM card na ang naiparehistro.
Paliwanag ni Uy, kaya isinulong ang pagpaparehistro sa SIM card para malabanan ang text scams at iba pang uri ng mga pangloloko gamit ang cellular phone.
Kasabay nito, pinag-iingat ni Uy ang publiko saa mga text scams.
