EO para pangasiwaan ang Malacañang Heritage Mansions nilagdaan ni Pangulong Marcos
Nilagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.ang Executive Order No. 26 para itaguyod at ipreserba ang Philippine historical at cultural heritage sites gaya ng Malacañang Heritage Mansions.
Nakasaad din sa EO ang pagbuo sa advisory at management bodies
“Promoting Filipino History and Culture Through the Efficient Management of Malacañang Heritage Mansions, and Creating an Advisory Board and Management Center for the Purpose,” saad ng EO.
Nilagdaan ng Pangulo ang EO kahapon, Mayo 12, 2023.
“An Advisory Board for the efficient management of the Malacañang Heritage Mansions (Advisory Board) is hereby created,” sabi ng Pangulo.
Bubuuin ang Advisory Board ng tatlong kinatawan mula sa Office of the President (OP), na magsisilbi sa ex officio capacity at tatlong kinatawan mula sa private sector na i-aappoint ng Pangulo.
Inaaatasan ng Pangulo ang Advisory Board na gumawa ng polisiya, proyekto at programa para maayos na mapamahalaan ang Malacañang Heritage Mansions.
“For this purpose, the Malacañang Heritage Mansions shall include the Kalayaan Museum, and such other properties as may be identified by the Advisory Board,” saad ng EO.
“The supervision of the Kalayaan Museum is hereby transferred from the Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for General Administration to the Social Secretary’s Office (SoSec).”
Nakasaad din sa EO ang pagtatatag ng Malacañang Heritage Mansions Management Center (MHMMC) na magbibigay ng technical at administrative support sa Advisory Board.
