Naaresto ang isang lalaki ng mga ahente ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) sa pamamagitan ng controlled delivery operation sa Mandaluyong City.
Nabatid na ginamit pa ni Joel Reyes, 42, ng Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City ang pangalan na Kyle Sanchez nang tanggapin ang higit 1.8 kilo ng shabu.
Nagmula ang droga sa San Jose, USA at nagkakahalaga ito ng P12.8 milyon.
Dumating ito sa bansa sa Port of Clark noong nakaraang Mayo 9.
Itinimbre sa PDEA International Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Service ang pagdating sa Pilipinas ng naturang droga at ikinasa ang operasyon sa tulong ng Bureau of Customs at NCRPO.
