Ito ang payo ni Pangulon Marcos Jr. kay suspended Negros Oriental Rep. Arnie Teves matapos hindi pagbigyan ng Timor Leste ang hirit ng huli na political asylum.
Sa panayam kay Pangulong Marcos habang nasa biyahe mula Indonesia pauwi ng Pilipinas, sinabi nito na susundin ng Timor Leste ang appeal process para sa isang political asylum.
Aniya, wala siyang ibang magagawa kung hindi hintayin na makumpleto ang proseso.
Nagkaroon ng bilateral meeting sina Pangulong Marcos at Timor Leste Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak sa sideline ng 42nd Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit sa Labuan Bajo, Indonesia.
“Come home. That’s the best advice I can give,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Hindi na bumalik sa Pilipinas si Teves simula noong Pebrero matapos ituro na utak sa pagpatay kay Gov. Roel Degamo noong Marso 4.
