Maging alerto pa rin, hindi pa tapos ang pandemya – DOH sa publiko
Ibayong pag-iingat pa rin ang ibinilin ng Department of Health (DOH) sa publiko dahil hindi pa tapos ang pandemya dulot ng COVID 19.
Kasunod ito nang pagdeklara ng World Health Organization (WHO) na hindi na maituturing na public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC) ang COVID 19.
“Ang public health emergency of international concern na ini-lift ng WHO is not equated to the pandemic. So even though the WHO has already lifted the public health emergency of international concern status, hindi po nila sinabing tapos na ang pandemya,” ani DOH Officer-in-Charge Maria Rosario Vergeire.
Hindi aniya dapat magpabaya ang mamamayan sa proteksyon ng kanilang sarili.
Binanggit nito na tumaas pa ng husto ang bilang ng mga bagong kaso ng COVID 19 nitong nakalipas na linggo.
Aniya nagpulong ang Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) noong Lunes at napag-usapan ang naging hakbang ng WHO/
Ayon kay Vergeire may mga nabuo ng rekomendasyon at isusumite nila ito kay Pangulong Marcos sa Lunes.
