Ginawaran ng full military honors si Pangulong Marcos Jr. sa Pentagon Headquarters.
Mismong si US Secretary of State Lloyd Austin ang sumalubong kay Pangulong Marcos Jr.
Ito ang unang pagkakataon na isang full military honors ang iginawad ng Pentagon sa isang lider ng bansa.
Binigyan ang Pangulo ng 21 gun salute at sinundan ito ng inspection of troops, bago nagpulong sina Pangulong Marcos at Austin.
“We will always have your back in the South China Sea or elsewhere in the region,” pahayag ni Austin.
