Speaker Romualdez tiniyak sa US Fil-Am community ang suporta ng Kamara sa PBBM agenda
Siniguro ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez na nasa likod ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., ang Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso para magkaroon ng kaganapan ang mithiin ng gobyerno ng mas maunlad na Pilipinas.
Kabilang si Romualdez sa mga kasama ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., na humarap sa Fil-Am community sa Ritz-Carlton Hotel isa Washington, D.C. matapos ang bilateral meeting ng Punong Ehekutibo kay US President Joe Biden.
“The House of Representatives will continue working hand-in-hand with President Marcos to advance his legislative, policies, and initiatives geared towards job creation, improved business climate, and a better life for all Filipinos,” ani Romualdez.
Nauna sa US si Romualdez para mailatag ang economic at security agenda ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., sa pagbisita nito sa Amerika.
“This is our way of thanking all our overseas Filipino workers for their invaluable contributions to the economic growth of our country and for showcasing to the world the solid work ethic, talent, and the good nature of all Filipinos,” ayon pa sa namumuno sa Kamara.
Kumpiyansa din si Romualdez na sa naging pakikipag-usap ni Pangulong Marcos sa mga US officials at businessmen ay makakalikha ng karagdagang mga trabaho sa Pilipinas.
Marami aniya sa “priority measures” ng administrasyon ay naipasa na sa Kamara at prayoridad na maipasa ang iba pa para sa pagbangon ng Pilipinas mula sa mga epekto ng pandemya.
