Mahigit 100 Chinese vessels ang namataan sa West Philippine Sea.
Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard, base ito sa maritime patrols na ginawa ng Philippine vessels sa West Philippine Sea mula Abril 18 hanggang 24.
Kabilang sa mga barko na namataan ng PCG ang mahigit 100 Chinese Maritime Militia vessels, isang barko ng People’s Liberation Army Navy corvette class at dalawang China Coast Guard vessels.
Labing walong Chinese maritime militia ang nakita malapit sa Sabina Shoal.
Ayon sa PCG, sa kabila ng paulit-ulit na radio challenges ng mga barko na BRP Malapascua at BRP Malabrigo, hindi nagpatinag ang Chinese maritime militia.
Isinumite na ng PCG ang report sa National Task Force West Philippine Sea (NTFWPS).
Naitaboy naman ng PCG ang apat na Chinese Maritime Militia vessels na nangingisda sa territorial sea ng Pag-asa Island.
Labing pitong grupo ng mahigit 100 na Chinese Maritime Militia vessels ang namataan sa bisnidad ng Julian Felipe Reef.
Agad na idineploy ng PCG ang Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats pero hindi nagpatinag ang mga Chinese.
