2,000 estudyante makikinabang sa bagong library sa QC

Aabot sa mahigit 2,000 batang estudyante ang makikinabang sa bagong library sa Bagong Pag-asa Elementary School sa Quezon City.

Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, dahil sa bagong library, mapapalawak ng mga estudyante ang kaalaman sa ibat ibang larangan.

Kasama ni Belmonte sa pagbubukas ng bagong library sina SoFA Design Institute President Amina Aranaz-Alunan, Quezon City 1st District Rep. Arjo Atayde, Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, Quezon City District 1 Action Officer Ollie Belmonte, Quezon City Public Library OIC Mariza Chico, QC Internal Auditor Noel Gascon at Schools Division Supt. Dr. Carleen Sedilla.

“We believe that this joint effort between the private and public sector is a great contribution to the people of Quezon City,” pahayag ni Belmonte.

“We’re really grateful to our partners from the local government of Quezon City and the school administrators for helping to make sure that education is more and more accessible to Filipino children,” pahayag ni Alunan.

Nabatid na ang SoFA Design Institute ay isang nangungunang specialized design school sa bansa na nag-aalok ng mga programa sa fashion at interior design.

Sinabi naman ni Atayde, na malaking tulong ito sa mga bata para magkaroon ng access sa tamang impormasyon.

“This includes building libraries which is a vital component of this effort, as it capitalizes on solutions that bring so much value in enhancing education within our communities,” pahayag ni Atayde.

Bukod sa Bagong Pag-Asa Elementary School, sinabi ni Atayde na apat pang eskwelahan sa Quezon City ang lalagyan ngs ariling library.
