College degree sa tech-voc graduates magiging madali na ayon sa TESDA

Nagpalabas ang Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) at ang Commission on Higher Education (CHED) ng joint memorandum para maging madali sa technical-vocational graduates ang pagkuha ng college degree.   Sa naturang memorandum, mabibigyan ng credits sa kolehiyo ang mga nakapagtapos ng technical-vocational courses.   Noong Abril 14, pinirmahan nina TESDA Director General Danilo  Cruz at CHED Chairperson  Prospero De Vera III ang Joint CHED-TESDA Memorandum Circular No. 01.   Layon ng memorandum na maipatupad ang Philippine Credit Transfer System (PCTS) para mapadali ang pagkuha ng kurso sa kolehiyo ng vocational courses.

Iginiit ni Cruz na pinagtipay pa ng memorandum ang kahalagahan ng pagtatapos sa mas mataas na edukasyon, na nais ng administrasyong-Marcos Jr sa pamamagitan ng “upskilling” at “reskilling.”

“This is also in response to the need to upskill learners into a highly competitive and innovative workforce, armed with 21st Century skills. Likewise, it gives our workers better chances for permanency and further professional growth,” dagdag pa ng opisyal.
