Nagpahayag na ng kahandaan ang AirAsia Philippines sa paglipat ng kanilang domestic flights sa NAIA Terminal 2 mula sa NAIA Terminals 3 at 4 simula sa darating na Hulyo 1.
Ito ay alinsunod sa schedule and terminal assignment rationalization (STAR) program ng Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
Dumalo si AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Country Head Steve Dailisan sa isinagawang coordination meeting kay MIAA Gen. Manager Cesar Chiong kasama ang NAIA Terminal managers.
Napag-usapan ang mga gagawing hakbang ng AirAsia sa paglipat nila sa Terminal 2, kasama na ang lugar ng kanilang check-in counters sa South Wing ng NAIA T2.
Naniniwala naman si AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla na malaking ginhawa sa mga pasahero ang STAR program ng NAIA.
“We call it the winning move because it will enable AirAsia to expand its passenger capacity, benefitting from the terminal’s larger space for check-in, boarding gates, baggage carousel and arrival. Ultimately, it is the customer experience that we want to champion through this winning move,” wika ni Isla.
Sinimulan na rin ng AirAsia ang social media announcements at pre-flight notifications sa pamamagitan ng text messages at email para sa gabay ng kanilang mga pasahero.
