Idineklara ng National Museum of the Philippines ang Our Lady of Remedies Parish Church complex sa Malate, Manila bilang “important cultural property.”
Tahanan ng imahe ng Our Lady of Remedies ang 435-year-old Baroque-style na simbahan.
Nabatid na galing pa ng Spain ang naturang imahe noong 1624.
Nakasaad sa Cultural Properties Preservation and Protection Act, the National Museum Act of 1998, at National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009 na inaatasan ang NMP na ideklara ang ICPs o National Cultural Treasures.
Maaring makatanggap ng subsidiya at iba pang suporta mula sa gobyerno ang mga ICPs para sa preservation at conservation.
