Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, ito ay para matulungan ang mga residente na mai-rehistro ang kanilang mga SIM card bago pa man ang itinakdang deadline ng Department of Information and Communications Technology sa Abril 26, 2023.
Ayon kay Belmonte, matatagpuan ang mga booth sa loob ng Quezon City Hall Compound sa Abril 24-26, 2023.
Tutulungan ng lokal na pamahalaan na mairehstro ang mga SIM card sa mga telcos ng Globe Telecom, Smart Communications at Dito Telco.
Sabi ni Belmonte, ang proyektong ito ay hatid ng Office of the City Administrator katuwang ang nabanggit na mga telcos.
