P1-M halaga ng smuggled na sigarilyo huli sa Sorsogon

Nasabat ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang  mahigit P1 milyong halaga na sigarilyo sa Matnog Port, Sorsogon.

Ayon kay BOC.Commissioner Bienvenido. Rubio. nakalagay ang mga smuggled na sigarilyo sa 758 reams. Sakay ng Urvan shuttle ang mga sigarilyo galing ng Ongpin, Manila at dadalhin sana sa Cebu City. Ayon sa BOC, walang mga dokumento at legal na selyo ang mga naturang sigairlyo. “We remain vigilant in our fight against smuggling and will continue to implement strict measures to prevent the entry of smuggled goods into the country. The recent seizure of these smuggled cigarettes is a testament to our unwavering commitment to curb smuggling and collect lawful revenue for the government,” ayon kay  Rubio.
