Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang pagbubukas ng “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” (KNP) sa Barangay Dulong Bayan sa San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan.
Tinatayang 50 sellers mula sa Department of Agriculture (DA), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), at local government unit (LGU) ang kalahok sa nasabing programa.
Layunin ng KNP na gawing accessible sa publiko at ng abot-kayang halaga ng mga bilihin para matulungan sila sa epekto ng global inflation.
Kumikita din dahil sa KNP ang mga magsasaka, mangingisda at maliliit na small business owners sa pamamagitan ng farm-to-market consumer trade.
Simula ng ilunsad ang KNP noong Pebrero, umabot na sa P5.3 million ang naitalang total sales nito.
