Ex-PSG Chief Durante, 5 pa isasalang sa military court
Ililipat sa Eastern Mindanao Command headquarters sa Davao City si dating Presidential Security Group (PSG) commander, Brigadier General Jesus Durante III.
Makakasama niya si Col. Michael Licyayo, na kapwa niya nasasangkot sa pagpatay kay businesswoman-model Yvonette Chua-Plaza.
Sa ngayon ay nakakulong ang dalawa sa Philippine Army headquarters sa Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
Nabatid na ang dalawang opisyal kasama ang apat iba pang sundalo ay sasailalim na sa general court martial proceedings kaugnay sa naturang kaso.
Sila naman ay ipinagharap ng paglabg sa Articles of War 96 o conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman at Articles of War 97 o conduct prejudicial to good order and military discipline.
Ayon sa pulisya ang kaso ay maituturing na “crime of passion” dahil sa relasyon nina Durante at Chua – Plaza, bagay na itinanggi ng opisyal.
