Arrest warrant kina Bantag at Zulueta hakbang para sa hustisya kay Lapid – Hontiveros
Napakahalagang hakbang para mabigyan ng hustisya ang pagpatay kay Percival Mabasa alias Percy Lapid ang utos na arestuhin sina dating Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director General Gerald Bantag at Ricardo Zulueta.
Ito ang sinabi ni Sen. Risa Hontiveros sabay himok kay Bantag na makipagtulungan na lamang sa awtoridad sa ngalan ng hustisya.
“I also call on the Department of Justice and the National Bureau of Investigation to continue and expand their investigation beyond Bantag and Zulueta, to the “Ocho Boys” and all individuals who are allegedly members of the mafia which facilitated Lapid’s murder and other crimes inside the New Bilibid Prison,” anang senadora.
Nararapat lang aniya na mapanagot ang lahat na responsable at sangkot sa korapsyon.
“No sacred cows should be protected, and no stone should be left unturned,” diin ni Hontiveros.
Dapat din aniya na matukoy ng NBI at PNP ang tumawag sa pamilya Mabasa at nanghihingi ng pera para na rin sa kaligtasan ng mga naulila ng pinaslang na radio broadcaster.
Umaasa din aniya siya na sa utos na pag-aresto kay Bantag ay makakabawas sa sakit ng loob ng pamilya Mabasa.
