Mahigit P1 bilyong pondo para sa rice assistance sa government workers inilabas na ng DBM
Ibinigay na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) sa National Food Authority (NFA) ang P1,182,905,000 na pondo para sa one-time rice assistance sa lahat ng qualified employees at workers sa national government agencies.
Ayon kay Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, inaprubahan ng kanilang hanay ang Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) at corresponding Notice of Cash Allocation (NCA) noong Abril 12, 2023.
“As directed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., we shall ensure the welfare of our government workers by giving them assistance for their household needs and, at the same time, boosting the production of our rice farmers,” pahayag ni Pangandaman.
Nabatid na aabot sa 1,892,648 government workers, kasama na ang mga Job Order (JO) at Contract of Service (COS) personnel ang makikinabang sa rice assistance allowance.
Una nang nilagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Administrative Order No. 2 na nagbibigay ng one-time assistance na uniform quantity ng 25 kilo ng bigas sa lahat ng kwalipikadong empleyado.
Ibibigay ang rice assistance sa mga empleyado na nagbigay serbisyo hanggang noong Nobyembre 30, 2022.
