Panelo, pinalitan bilang presidential spokesperson
Hindi na magsisilbing presidential spokesperson at press secretary ng Duterte administration si Atty. Salvador Panelo.
Sa halip si Panelo ay itinalaga na lamang ni President-elect Rodrigo Duterte bilang chief presidential legal counsel.
Matpos ang pulong ni Duterte kagabi sa mga miyembro ng gabinete nito sa PICC sa Pasay City, ay nabago na ang magiging puwesto sa gobyerno ni Panelo.
Ang mini-reshuffle ay kinumpirma rin ng incoming Palace communications chief na si Martin Andanar.
Ayon kay Andanar, si Panelo ay papalitan ni Ernesto Abella bilang presidential spokesperson.
Magugunitang ang pagkakatalaga kay Panelo ay umani ng batikos dahil nagsilbi umano itong abugado ng pamilya Ampatuan na pangunahing suspek sa Maguindanao massacre.
Si Abella ay founder ng Southpoint School sa Davao at founder ng One Accord Credit Cooperative.
Siya ay nagtapos ng Masters in Entrepreneurship sa Asian Institute of Management, graduate ng School of English, School of Communication Arts sa Ateneo De Manila University at instructor din sa Ateneo de Davao College.
