Pumalo sa P80.133 bilyon ang nakolektang buwis ng Bureau of Customs sa buwan ng Marso.
Ayon kay Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio, record high ito para sa monthly collection ngayong taon.
Sabi ni Rubio, nalagpasan ng kanilang hanay ng P7.851 bilyon o 10.86 percent ang target na P72.282 bilyon.
“I am extremely proud of the men and women of the BOC for their dedication and hard work, and this remarkable achievement is a testament to their unwavering commitment to public service and the successful implementation of our priority programs,” pahayag ni Rubio.
“We will continue to push for reforms in the bureau to ensure that we are providing the best service to the Filipino people and contributing to the country’s economic growth,” dagdag ni Rubio.
