Padilla umapila sa Senate leadership na umaksyon sa hakbang ng Kamara sa Cha-cha

Hiniling ni Senator Robinhood  Padilla sa pamunuan ng Senado na tugunan ang pagiging bukas ng pamuanuan ng Kamara na pag-usapan ang paraan sa pag-amyenda sa Saligang Batas ng bansa.

Sinabi ni Padilla na sumulat na siya kina Senate President Juan Miguel  Zubiri, Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda, Majority Leader Joel Villanueva, at Minority Leader Aquilino Pimentel III.

Aniya  umapila siya ng “collaborative effort” sa apat na matataas na opisyal ng Senado.

Binanggit nito na si  House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez ay nagpahayag na ng pagiging bukas ng Kamara para mapag-usapan ang gagawing paraan sa pag-amyenda sa Konstitusyon.

Sinabi ni Romualdez na bagamat Constitutional Convention o Con Con ang sinang-ayunan sa Kamara bukas sila na mapag-usapan ang Constituent Assembly (Con Ass).

“With the foregoing, I sincerely hope that the leadership of our beloved institution, led by your representation, will forge ahead and make a move to respond to the suggestion of the House of Representatives to sit together and deliberate on the matter, ultimately, for the benefit of our countrymen,” banggit ni Padilla sa kanyang sulat.

Aniya ang kanyang nais lang naman ay mapagbuti ang ekonomiya ng bansa para sa mamamayan.
