Cash for Work program ikakasa sa Mindoro oil spill incident
Palalawakin pa ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) ang cash for work program para sa mga residenteng apektado ng oil spill sa Oriental Mindoro.
Ayon kay DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, sa halip na 15 araw lamang, gagawin na itong 45 na araw, depende sa pangangailangan ng mga residente.
Sakaling tumagal pa ang oil spill, maari pang palawigin ng hanggang 90 na araw ang cash for work program.
Sabi pa ni Gatchalian, kapag natapos na ang cash for work program ng DSWD, sasaklolo ang DOLE para naman sa Tulong Panghanapbuhay para sa Disadvantaged o TUPAD program.
Patuloy din aniya ang pamamahagi ng DSWD ng food packs.
