Higit 10,000 litro ng oil water mixture nakuha sa Mindoro oil spill

Umabot na sa 10,363 litro ng oily water mixture at 131 sako ng oil-contaminated materials ang nakolekta ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa offshore oil spill response operations sa Oriental Mindoro.
Ayon sa PCG, nasa 137 sako ng oil-contaminated materials ang nakolekta naman sa shoreline response.
Sa kabuuan, sinabi ng PCG na nasa 3,781.5 sako at 22 drums ng waste ang nakolekta mula sa clean up operations na isinagawa mula noong Marso 1 hanggang 28.
Nakolekta ito mula sa 13 apektdong barangays sa Naujan, Bulalacao, at Pola sa Oriental Mindoro.
Noong Pebrero 28 nang lumubog ang MT Princess Empress na may kargang 800,000 litro ng fuel.
