Grupo ng private schools pumalag sa ‘no permit, no exam’ policy
Tutol ang asosasyon ng mga pribadong paaralan sa isinusulong na “no permit. no exam” policy.”
Sa inilabas na pahayag ng Federation of Associations of Private School Administrators (FAPSA), sinabi na ang naturang polisiya ay magpapalala lamang sa kanilang sitwasyon.
Hindi rin aniya ikinunsidera ang kanilang sitwasyon sa naturang polisiya.
“FAPSA vehemently opposes this ill-advised bill. Lawmakers have to realize private schools operate on tuition fees and miscellaneous fees,” ani FAPSA chairman Eleazardo Kasilag.
Nakasaad sa Senate Bill 1359 o “No Permit, No Exam Prohibition Act” na hindi maaring pagbawalan ang estudyante sa pagkuha ng eksaminasyon dahil hindi bayad sa tuition.
Katuwiran ni Kasilag kapag hindi nagbayad sa matrikula wala naman silang ipapasuweldo sa kanilang mga guro at iba pang school personnel.
Dagdag pa niya kung masusunod ang nakasaad sa panukala na maaring ipitin ng eskuwelahan ang mga dokumento ng estidyante kapag hindi nagbayad sa matrikula, ang kanilang enrollment naman ang maaapektuhan.
“This is not much a problem in the public schools because the principal and teachers are paid by the state and all facilities are all funded by the government. That is not enjoyed in the private schools,’ dagdag pa nito.
Aniya hindi pa lubos na nakakabawi ang private schools sa epekto sa kanila ng pandemya.
