Exclusive motorcycle lane sa Commonwealth Avenue, aarangkada na sa Lunes
Sisimulan na ng Mtero Manila Development Authority ang pagpapatupad sa exclusive motorcycle lane sa Commonwealth Avenue, mula Elliptical Road hanggang sa Doña Carmen at vice versa sa Quezon City.
Ayon sa MMDA, P500 ang multa para sa mga lalabag dito.
Batay sa datos ng MMDA, , umaabot sa 20,656 ang nasita sa dry run ng exclusive motorcycle lane sa Commonwealth Avenue mula Marso 9 hanggang kahapon, Marso 24. Sa naturang bilang, 4,527 rito ay mga motorcycle riders habang 16,129 naman ay mga four-wheel vehicle drivers.
Matatagpuan ang designated MC lane sa ikatlong lane mula sa bangketa ng Commonwealth Avenue.
Layunin nito na mabawasan ang mga motorcycle-related road crash incidents at matiyak na maayos ang daloy ng trapiko sa nabanggit na kalsada.
Katuwang ng MMDA sa pagpapatupad ng exclusive motorcycle lane sa Commonwealth Avenue ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City.
