Inilabas na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ang P419 milyong pondo para sa Philippine Statistics Authority.
Ayon kay Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, gagamitin ang pondo para ipangbayad sa registration officers na kinuha bilang Contract of Service Workers (COSW) para sa implementasyon ng Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
Nabatid na noong March 7, 2023, nagsumite ng request ang PSA para sa karagdagang cash allocation para sa COSW mula January hanggang March 2023.
Ayon kay Pangandaman, pinahahalagahan ng DBM ang sweldo ng mga government personal.
Mahalaga kasi aniya sa buhay ng public servant ang sweldo.
