Boses at papel ng kababaihan sa gobyerno palalakasin ni Pangulong Marcos Jr.

Bibigyan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ng mas malakas na boses at mahalagang papel sa gobyerno ang mga kababaihan. Sa talumpati ng Pangulo sa  awarding ceremony ng 2023 Outstanding Women in Law Enforcement and National Security sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang, kinilala ng Pangulo ang women empowerment. sa pagsasabing:  “I assure you of this administration’s steadfast pursuits to provide women with more prominent roles as well as a greater voice, especially in government.” “This administration shall continue to implement concrete and comprehensive measures to increase women’s representation in the security sector and government service towards creating a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable society,” dagdag ng Pangulo. Sinabi pa ng Pangulo na patuloy na makikipagtulungan ang gobyerno sa  civil society groups at pribadong sektor para maisulong ang   whole-of-society approach upang maitaguyod ang  women’s rights at mai-promote ang equal opportunities. Sinabi pa ng Pangulo na nauna ang Pilipinas sa rehiyon sa pagbalangkas sa  National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security na nagbibigay ng komprehensibong  action points para maitaguyod ang karapatan ng mga kababaihan. Umaasa ang Pangulo na ang  Office of the Presidential Adviser for Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPPRU) ay gagawa ng updated National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security. “Let us work together on creating conditions for women to make choices, thrive in their chosen careers, and fulfill their goals and aspirations for themselves, their families, and the country,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
