Maharlika Investment Fund bill inilatag na sa plenaryo ni Sen. Mark Villar

Hiningi ni Senator Mark Villar sa mga kapwa senador ang suporta para sa isinusulong na Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF) bill.
Ginawa ito ni Villar sa kanyang sponsorship speech para sa naturang panukala, na ang layon ay magkaroon ng ‘Sovereign Fund’ ang Pilipinas.
Ipinaliwanag ng namumuno sa Committee on Banks na ang MIF ang magiging isa sa mga daan para sa pagpapa-unlad ng ekonomiya ng bansa.
Pagtitiyak din ng senador na magiging maayos ang pamamahala ng pondo at susunod ito sa “principles of good governance, transparency, and accountability.”
“Not only will this promote effective intergenerational management of the country’s financial resources, but more importantly, improve the welfare of the future generations of Filipinos,” aniya.
Ilang senador na ang nagsabi na hihimayin nila ang husto ang panukala, na agad pumasa sa Kamara.
