Rep. Arnie Teves humirit ng dalawang buwan na ‘leave of absence’ sa Kamara
Hiniling ni Negros Oriental 3rd district Representative Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves Jr. na payagan na makapag-‘leave of absence’ sa Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso ng dalawang buwan.
Ang kanyang pangamba sa kaligtasan ang idinahilan ni Teves sa kanyang sulat na natanggap kagabi ng pamunuan ng Kamara.
“The undersigned representative of the third district of Negros Oriental humbly plea and request that he be granted a two-month leave of absence due to very grave security threat to his life and his family, to be reckoned from March 9, 2023,” ang nakasaad sa isang pahinang sulat ni Teves.
Ang sulat ay para kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez at ito ay may petsang Marso 9.
Tiniyak din nito na babalik siya ng bansa kapag naresolba na ang ipinapalagay niyang banta sa kanyang buhay.
Ipinapalagay na nasa labas ng bansa si Teves at ito ay nabigyan ng travel clearance mula Pebrero 28 hanggang Marso 9 para sumailalim sa medical procedure sa US.
