Private armed groups pinabubuwag ni Sen. JV Ejercito sa PNP, AFP
Hinikayat ni Senator Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) na buwahin ang lahat ng private armies sa lahat ng dako ng bansa.
Binanggit niya na ang mga pumatay kay Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo ay gumamit ng mga sopistikadong armas at kapansin-pansin ang kanilang pagsasanay sa close-quarter combat.
“I’m hoping that with the deployment of troops and Philippine National Police personnel, the government can already catch and apprehend all of these killers. What is more important is to disband private armies all around the country. The way that Governor Degamo was killed, it was well-funded,” he said.
Ayon sa senador sinusuportahan niya ang pagdadagdag ng puwersa ng gobyerno sa lalawigan para sa kapayapaan at katahimikan.
“Until the government is able to dismantle or neutralize these armed elements, I support the deployment of troops and PNP so that order can once again be restored in the province of Negros Oriental,” sabi pa ng senador.
