Nagsagawa ng all-women Pedal for People and Planet movement ang isang environmentalist group sa Quezon City.
Ito ay para palakasin pa ang awareness sa climate change, food and clean energy at iba pang isyu sa lipunan.
Ayon kay Lidy Nacpil, coordinator ng Asian People’s Movement on Debt and Development, nasa 1,000 bikers at environmentalist ang nakiisa sa naturang aktibidad.
Umabot sa 16 kilometro ang bike action.
Nagsagawa rin ng sabay ang aktibidad ang iba pang environmentalists sa India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nepal, at Vietnam.
May ikinakasa aktibidad ang APMDD ngayong taon para sa hikayatij ang gobyerno at iba pang korporaysuon na pangalagaan ang kalikasan at iwasang gumamif ng mga mabilis ang hindi magandang hakbang para sa climate solutions.
