Kasunod ito ng paglubog ng MT Princess Empress sa Oriental Mindoro na may kargang 800,000 litro ng fuel.
Ayon sa PCG, tuloy ang paglilinis ng kanilang hanay sa karagatan dahil sa oil spill.
Katuwang ng PCG sa paglilinis ang mga tauhan ng Simirara Mining and Power Corporation.
