Bumuo na ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang ng Inter-Agency Task Force na tututok sa kaso ng pagpaslang kay Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo.
Ayon kay Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla, si i Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos ang inatasan na mamuno sa task force.
Ipinatawag sa Palasyo ang mga opisyal ng Department of Justice, National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine National Police, DILG, Armed Forces of the Philippines, at Office of the Executive Secretary.
Sabi ni Remulla, ginawa ang pulong sa Palasyo para matiyak na maging coordinated ang galaw ng gobyerno at pagtugon sa kaso.
Tatlo o apat katao aniya ang maaring utak sa pagpatay kay Degamo.
