Halos 50 porsiyento ng mga Filipino ay positibo na bubuti ang ekonomiya ng bansa ngayon 2023, ayon sa Social Weather Stations (SWS).
Sa survey na isinagawa noong Disyembre 10 hanggang 14, 48 porsiyento ang umaasa ng pagsigla ng ekonomiya, 33 porsiyento ang naniniwala na walang magbabago, samantalang siyam na porsiyento ang nagsabi na sasama pa ang kondisyon.
Ayon sa SWS, ang net optimism ay isang punto na mababa lamang sa ‘excellent’ +41 na naitala noong Oktubre.
“It has been at excellent levels since December 2021, ranging from +40 to +50. It used to be mediocre -9 in July 2020, mediocre -5 in September 2020, and high +24 in November 2020, during the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic,” paliwanag pa ng SWS.
Idinagdag pa; “As of December 2022, net economic optimism is highest in Metro Manila (+47), followed by Mindanao (+45), Balance Luzon (or Luzon outside Metro Manila) (+40), and the Visayas (+27).”
Nanatiling excellent sa Metro Manila sa +47 bagamat bumaba ito mula sa +52.
Bumaba din sa Balance Luzon, +40 mula sa +40, samantalang nanatiling ‘fair’ sa Visayas, +27 mula sa +27.
Sa Mindanao, umangat sa +45 mula sa +32.
