Nalagpasan ng Bureau of Customs ang revenue target collection para sa buwan ng Pebrero.
Ayon kay BOCCommissioner Bienvenido Rubio, nasa P63.015 bilyong buwis ang nakolekta noong nakaraang buwan.
Lagpas ito sa target na P61.827 bilyon.
Sabi ni Rubio, ang nakolekta noong Pebrero ay mas mataas ng P3.583 bilyon na nakolekta noong Pebrero 2022 na pumalo lamang sa P59.433 bilyon.
Nasa P133.380 bilyon na ang nakolekta ng BOC sa unang dalawang buwan.
Mas mataas ito ng P8.641 bilyon sa P124.738 bilyon na target sa unang dalawang buwan ng taon.
“We will continue to innovate and implement sustainable reforms to boost the Bureau’s collection efficiency, which will contribute to the expansion and recovery of our national economy,” pahayag ni Rubio.
“For this to be possible, we will also prioritize fostering a healthier trade environment through enhanced and modernized mechanisms for efficient trade facilitation and improved Customs operations for all our stakeholders,” dagdag ni Rubio.
