Airport personnel inaresto sa pagsungkit ng relo ng Chinese tourist
Inaresto ang isang tauhan ng Office for Transportation Security (OTS) dahil sa diumanoy pagnanakaw ng relo ng isang turistang Chinese citizen sa NAIA Terminal 1.
Nabatid na itinanggi pa ni Valeriano Ricaplaza ang ginawa, ngunit huli sa security camera ang kanyang ginawa.
Ang pagkuha sa relo ng turista ay nangyari sa pagdaan sa x-ray machine para sa security screening.
Nasa kustodiya na ngayon ng PNP – Aviation Security Unit si Ricaplaza para sa masusing imbestigasyon.
Samantala, agad na kinondena ng Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) ang insidente.
“Theft violates the trust and integrity required of public servants, and has serious negative consequences for the airport, its stakeholders, and the country as a whole,” ani MIAA General Manager Cesar Chiong.
