Nasabat ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Clark at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) ang 47 gramo ng shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P324,000 sa Masantol, Pampanga.
Ayon kay Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio, nadiskubre ng mga tauhan ng BOC at PDEA ang illegal na droga nang magsagawa ng routine examination sa kargamento na galing ng California sa Amerika.
Nakadeklara ang illegal na droga bilang nga larawan.
Pero base sa x-ray scanning at pagsusuri ng K9, nadiskubre ang kargamento na illegal na droga.
“The recent seizures and arrests of claimants by the BOC are results of our intensified anti-smuggling campaign,” pahayag ni Rubio.
“We remain committed in achieving the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to curb all forms of smuggling in the country,” dagdag ni Rubio.
