Dagdag pondo sa mental health programs suportado ni Go

Hindi nag-atubili si Senator Christopher Go sa pagbibigay ng suporta sa mga nagsusulong na madagdagan ang pondo para sa mental health programs sa bansa.
Diin nito, napakahalaga ng kalagayan ng pag-iisip tulad ng iba pang sakit.
Pagbabahagi nito, may P1.86 bilyon ang Department of Health (DOH) para sa mga gamot sa pag-iisip o utak sa 2023 national budget.
Bukod pa dito ang inilaan na P12 milyon para sa pagkasa ng mental health awareness programs.
“Consistent naman po tayo sa pagdaragdag ng pondo. Noong 2022, we advocated for P200 million po for the same and mayroon naman pong special provision sa 2023 budget for the improvement of benefit packages of Philhealth, including mental health package,” aniya.
