Shabu nadiskubre ng Customs Bureau sa idineklarang butones

Naharang ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Clark ang tinatayang P5.7 milyong halaga ng shabu.
Base sa impormasyon, idineklarang mga damit ang laman ng package na nagmula sa Harare, Zimbabwe at dumating sa bansa noong Pebrero 14.
Ipinaamoy sa mga drug-sniffing dogs ang package at nang buksan ay naglalaman ito ng 255 butones ng damit, na pinagtaguan ng higiot 835 gramo ng shabu na inilagay sa mga gilid ng karton.
Matapos ang laboratory analysis ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) nakumpirma na shabu ang itinago sa mga butones.
Agad nagpalabas si District Collector John Simon ng Warrant of Seizure and Detention sa naturang pakete dahil sa paglabag sa ( R.A. No. 10863 kaugnay naman sa R.A. No. 9165.
