NHA may babala sa ‘pabahay for rent / sale racket’
Binalaan ng National Housing Authority (NHA) ang mga housing beneficiaries na huwag ibenta o paupahan ang pabahay na ibinigay ng pamahalaan.
Ayon kay NHA general manager Jooben Tai, maari kasing malagay sa blacklist o makansela ang ibinigay na pabahay kapag ibinenta o pinaupahan.
“Those who are selling or renting out their right, you can’t repeat benefitting anymore. To our beneficiaries, I hope you will take good care of the housing units you received from the government,” pahayag ni Tai.
Payo ni Tai sa publiko, direktang makipag-ugnayan sa NHA kung nais na makakuha ng murang pabahay.
Ayon kay Tai, panahon pa ni dating NHA general manager Marcelino Escalada Jr. noong 2021 nang maglabas ng cancellation order sa mga benepisyaryo na nagbebenta o nagpapaupa ng pabahay.
Nabuking kasi na nagbabayad ang benepisyaryo ng P250 hanggang P500 kada buwan at pinauupahan sa iba ng P3,000 hanggang P4,000.
Samantala, 50 houses and lots at anim na lot allocations ang ibinigay sa Indigenous Peoples ng Bugkalot Tribe sa Dupax Del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya.
Pinangunahan ni NHA Region II/CAR II regional manager Ferdinand C. Sales ang turnover ceremony.
“I hope that during my term, we will be able to help address the housing needs, not only of the IP families but all the poor homeless Filipino families,” pahayag ni Tai.
