Red tide positibo sa Visayas, Mindanao

Positibo sa paralytic shellfish poison (PSP) o toxic red tide ang ilang lugar sa bansa.

Ayon sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), positibo sa red tide ang baybaying dagat sa Milagros sa Masbate; Panay, President Roxas, at Pilar sa Capiz; Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol; San Pedro Bay sa Samar; Dumanquillas Bay sa Zamboanga del Sur; at Lianga Bay sa Surigao del Sur.

Ayon sa BFAR, bawal kainin ang lahat ng klase ng shellfish at alamang na makukuha sa mga nabanggit na lugar.

Maari naming kainin ang isda, pusit, hipon at alimango basta’t kinakailangan na hugasan at lutuing mabuti.

Kinakailangan na tanggalin ang hasang at kaliskis ng isda bago lutuin.
