Tahimik na pagninilay para kay Pangulong Marcos Jr., ngayon Miyerkules ng Abo
Hangad ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang tahimik na pagninilay sa Semana Santa.
Sinabi niya ito kasabay nang paggunita ngayong araw na Ash Wednesday, hudyat ng pagsisimula ng Kuwaresma.
Hangad din nito na manaig ang pagmamahal ni Kristo para magbigay ng inspirasyon sa kapwa.
Ibinalik na ngayon ng Simbahang Katolika ang tradisyunal na paglalagay ng abo sa noo matapos ang dalawang taon dahil sa pandemya.
“We pray for our nation’s quiet reflection this Ash Wednesday. As we prepare for the season of Lent, may the love of Christ inspire us to endure and faithfully continue our service to others,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
